A good example is the responses by both Britain (United Kingdom) and France who took all the necessary steps to ensure that everything had normalized. During this time, France and Britain had advanced so much in terms of economic development and growth hence they felt the adverse effects of the financial crisis with a large multitude (Moran & Wright, 1991). It should be however noted that even though they experienced the adverse effects of the global financial crisis, they employed different strategies to mitigate the risks of the 1970s to 1980 global financial crises.

This paper focuses on the various responses that the two countries employed in ensuring that they had reduced the effects of the financial crisis within their economies. It gives a comparison and evaluation of the various responses employed by the two economies. The comparison and the evaluation will be beneficial in understanding how probably the other economies survived the great global financial crisis. In this paper, the comparison and the evaluation are discussed in different aspect or sections where there are sections dealing only with the responses of each country. This is then followed by a section giving the comparison of the two categories of responses.
