These traits are referred to as masculine or manly because men were expected to be tough during those times. On the other hand, women’s feminine characters are complex because women were dependent on men.

Although there are women heroes in ancient Greek myths, the women were wary of the powers that were possessed by their male counterparts. Some women might have had qualities of heroes.
