Introduction

Ken Kesey was a prominent writer who made a mark on the 20^th century history significantly with his book One Flew over the Cuckoo’s nest in 1962. The book helped in establishing him as a significant writer in the narration of American writing. The book turned out to be a classic of its time, the anti-authoritarian significance is an imperative expression of the outlook of its times. Kesey also engaged in recreating an energetic role in the improvement of altered perception in California’s opposing customs in the second half of the 20^th century.
