Introduction

Ken Kesey was a prominent writer who made a mark on the 20th century history significantly with his book One Flew over the Cuckoo’s nest in 1962. The book helped in establishing him as a significant writer in the narration of American writing. The book turned out to be a classic of its time, the anti-authoritarian significance is an imperative expression of the outlook of its times. Kesey also engaged in recreating an energetic role in the improvement of altered perception in California’s opposing customs in the second half of the 20th century.

For Harold Pinter writing was an invention and expedition; an expedition which led him to turn into a nonconformist scholar. Each decade has established an ongoing progress in his efforts. In mostly all of his plays written after 1970 there was a depiction of East London and in all his plays written before 1970 there was a depiction of North London, from dangers to characteristics. The connotation of his move from the plays’ unique blue-collared people setting towards a world of scholarly and specialized middle-class society made him an edifying image in the 1970s. As time moved on, he started focusing on the political aspects of the world and came to be known as an expert political thinker in the 1980s and 1990s. This was further established into an even bigger picture and he sought to be a detractor of the communal order. For Pinter theatre was fundamentally probing and has always been a serious procession.
