The type of reports a Medical Transcriptionist might expect to receive when working in the cardiology field pertain to X-Rays of the muscle/ tissue and ones surrounding the heart and the circulatory system. Aside from this the Transcriptionist may also receive reports like the ECG which focuses on using waves to distinguish the subject and the Echo-Cardiogram which used sound to identify the tissue of the heart and its functional status. Additionally now a new form of report is also available which pertains to non invasive imaging technique by which endoscope images and pictures are taken to give a realistic three dimensional view. This is especially useful in the cases pertaining to the coronary artery disease.
