In John 6:1-14, Jesus fed the 5,000 people who had followed Him for the Passover eve but without food. There was no where bread could be bought but only a boy had five loaves and two small fishes. Jesus took these loaves and fish and thanked God and ordered the disciples to distribute the food to the gathering.

After they finished eating, 12 full baskets of leftovers were collected. It should be noted that Jesus asked Andrew if there was anywhere bread could be bought even though He knew the answer but wanted to show His divine power. He showed his power over food[1]. This shows the power of God to create something from nothing[2].
