It is probable that out of each 5 one of the American citizens is obese, a condition clear as being more than 30 percent above the idyllic mass according to the height. Even more disturbing is that truth that obesity rates for kids have doubled in the last 20 years, and obese kids are being analyzed with diseases such as diabetes, sleep deprivation and breathing problems which are directly related to their obesity. These diseases in the past have only affected adults.

As the health providers have increased their costs Americans have started to focus on blaming the fast food industry for the increase in the rate of obesity related illnesses. Facing severe rivalry for consumer trustworthiness, McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy’s have started to promote their upsized burgers, upsized fries and cheap soda at very low prices. Director Spurlock in 2004 directed a documentary and with his original art work, animation, and astonishing facts and figures shed light on America’s attitudes towards being overweight.
