Good leader are made and not born. This is supported by the fact that, most special traits are possessed by leaders through much experience. To be a good leader, one ought to know and do some things; these do not come automatically but through experience and study. Leaders have capacity to affect the manner in which followers act, thus good leaders are charismatic.

Leadership may apply specific knowledge and skills, which is commonly referred to as process leadership. Leadership based on influencing others through traits, is referred to as trait leadership indicated by daft (36-61). It is now clear that leaders are made and not born; any leader must have an honest understanding of who he is.  To be successful, one ought to influence his followers in a manner that they will trust and hold confidence in him.
