The legalization of this substance for medical uses has brought tax revenue in the tune of billions to various states annually. It has been proven to help terminally ill patients. Thus, thirteen States along with Rhode Island have legalized it for Medical Uses. The federal government however, is biased against its positive effects. It legalization can help safeguard civilian populations instead of making them criminals and take power away from drug dealers. Although it must be said that Marijuana abuse can have dire consequences. This topic will give reasoning in regards to why Marijuana should be legalized.
